This is Kenyan Style drilling a well. All done by hand. They are so far behind on progress but they seem to get the job done. This was just out in the parking lot at Likoni one of the flats for the Elder's. Down at the very bottom is a guy, a bucket is then lowered and he feels up with sand and a pulley rope pulls up the bucket and they do this all day long until their job is done.
